Photograph caption dated September 10, 1963 reads, "These twin 18-month-old grizzly bear cubs are taking a first look at their new home, the Griffith Park Zoo. They arrived there from Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming, following the route their mother took last month. Their mother, Geraldine, and the two cubs are gifts from park rangers. They were obtained for the zoo through arrangements by Recreation and Park Commissioner Stanley E. Fox. The cubs will join their mother in the bear compound soon, zoo directors said."
