Description
Photograph of a statue of President George Washington, 1935. President Washington stands on a stone pedestal at center in a regal pose. He wears tall boots, a suit, vest, and jacket and keeps his stern face high. A thick jacket with a sword swinging from its side lies hung over a post where President Washington rests his left hand. His right hand is gently closed around the top of his cane. The dark plaque below him simply reads "George Washington". Photo sleeve reads "Women's Auxiliary".
