Photograph was edited for publication purposes
Photograph caption dated December 19, 1955 reads, "Proof that 4,800 volts can leave burn scars is shown on street pavement in front of 7133 Reseda Blvd. where four "hot" wires fell. Pointing out blackened spots is Stan Gordon, of 7431 Topeka St., Reseda, who was standing across street. He helped Water and Power employes [sic] clear Christmas shoppers from area."
