"Die im Urwald am Birbir gespaltenen Bretter werden von Trägern zur Station gebracht und in der Sonne zum Trocknen ausgebreitet. Alle paar Stunde[n], auch in der Nacht, werden sie umgedreht, damit sie von Termiten nicht zerfressen werden" ("The in the primeval forest at the Birbir split boards are carried by porters to the station and displayed in the sun to dry.
