Kathleen Sharp discusses her biography, “Mr. & Mrs. Hollywood.” She begins by giving background information on the lives of Lew Wasserman, the head of the Music Corporation of America (MCA), and his wife Edie. Sharp talks about her first hand meetings with Lew Wasserman, and how he initially was very reserved but over time became more relaxed and answered more questions. She describes the social role Edie played in Lew’s business and her strengths as an entertainer. She discusses MCA's eventual sale to Universal Studios and what has happened to the business since then. She ends the interview by describing the struggles she had with setting up an interview with Lew Wasserman, the 450 other people she interviewed, and doing research in the Universal Studios archives. Interview may have been taped in 2003.
