Known for his work supporting organized labor. Editor, Sacramento Labor Bulletin. Here, Mayor Marriott welcoming and exhanging gifts with a delegation from Ichinomiya, Japan at a ceremony at City Hall. He received a decorative plate and a Samurai helmet and gave the group a key to the city.
