Description
Image shows view looking south with four riders on horseback along a garden pathway at the "Puerta del Norte" (north entrance) garden area, designed by the Olmsted Brothers. The riders are identified, left to right, as Gladys Towle, Reba Willis (manager of La Venta Inn), Gladys' husband Howard Harris Towle (involved in the development of the Palos Verdes Project), and George Bruner. A grove of eucalyptus trees is visible at left, and an automobile at far right.
