Description
Radio Applause Card, addressed to a broadcasting station of the viewer's choice to express appreciation for their specified program. Center image is topological view of the Santa Clara Valley stretching to the Pacific north of San Francisco. Surrounding the center image are a tree "10 Million Fruit Trees," a mission "The World Famous Missions," a dairy "Dairying - Poultry - Seeds," and a cannery "Manufacturing and Fruit Packing." At the bottom of the card, "A Friendly Valley with Opportunity. There are over 100,000 friendly, home-loving people living in our Valley. We have an ideal year-around climate and there are many opportunities here for investment with income and profit. There are over 5,000 farms in the county raising fruit, vegetables, seeds, livestock, poultry, etc. There is much manufacturing. We have the best of schools, churches, etc. We have several booklets giving detail which we send free. Ask for information. Chamber of Commerce, San Jose, California."
