Photograph of a view of the newly completed City Hall Building in Los Angeles, 1926-1928. The tall Classical-style building can be seen at center. It has a wide rectangular base with a tall tower rising from the middle The top of the tower is tapered to a point. Hundreds of small windows can be seen on the building. At left, the Hall of Records building is visible, while several more buildings can be seen in the foreground. In the background at right, a tall cylindrical structure can be seen. Legible signs include, from left: "Bank of Italy International Branch Savings Commercial Trust Interest Paid on Term Deposits Safe Deposit Boxes", "Hotel Nadeau Ground Floor Lobby Elevator Service Steam Heat $1 Per Day $4 Per Week", and "The Autobank for automobile loans 10th and Grand".
