"London Mission Dispensary, Tientsin". Missionary and Chinese dispensers behind counter with two patients. The dispensary at Tientsin was opened shortly after the LMS began their medical work there in 1879. The dispensaries were usually attached to mission hospitals for the use of outpatients.
