Description
View of the almond sterilizing apparatus on the roof of this warehouse. It is capable of sterilizing an enormous amount of almonds by a special mixture of gases described elsewhere in notes. The tank on the right shows the metal door open. These tanks have a capacity for about 3 truck loads of almonds. An empty truck is shown at the far end of the tank. The tank on the left has been filled with bags of almonds ready for sterilization.
