A description of the California Alien Land Law, listed principal provisions, and the role of California's escheatment process in the loss of property, without compensation, for Japanese persons in California. Collection consists of drafts and notes for narratives on Asian Americans, photographs, exhibit items, artifacts, publications, and audio and visual material accumulated by Wayne H. Maeda, instructor and founding member of Asian American Studies at Sacramento State.
