Kenneth Hopper writes Mr. Bunzaemon Inoue, of Sumitomo Rubber Industries, Ltd., saying that he trusts that Inoue has received Hopper's letter with a copy of the Osaka Managerial Controls Research Association letter of 1950 March 18. Hopper says that he intends to visit Japan and Inoue so that he may be able to produce a good chapter on Japanese management for his book. Hopper goes on to discuss the view of Jean Jacques Servan-Schreiber on the United States and its place in the industrial world compared to his own view.
