Description
A postcard of Bridges Hall of Music with a man and a woman walking down the steps. Official text, signed by Frances Finch '44, one of the Scholarship Students, reads: "With the first term of the college year closing today, we, the students who have been able to continue our studies at Pomona because of the Alumni Scholarship Fund, take this opportunity to express our grateful thanks." Post marked December 19, 1942 to Mrs. Howard E. Miller, 2224 Reservoir Street, Los Angeles, California. Includes a 1 cent United States postage stamp "Industry Agriculture for Defense" with an image of the Statue of Liberty.
