Description
MacArthur Park, created in the 1880's under the name Westlake Park, was later renamed in honor of General Douglas MacArthur. This picture shows palm-lined Wilshire Blvd. at MacArthur Park. Men with hats can be seen on the sidewalk. Circa early 1930s.
