Photograph of the wooden bell in the tower at Mission San Buenaventura, California, ca.1903. This wooden bell hung in the tower of the mission for many years. The bell is under an arch with a large beam across the opening to support it. The view looking through the opening is down toward the roofs of several buildings (at left) and the several stores which front the street (at right). Tree tops are visible in the background.
