Description
Rome: Firemen remove bodies from Pan American jetliner after it was bombed and burned by Arab guerillas at Leonardo da Vinci Airport here 12/17. The guerillas shot up an airport lounge prior to their attack on the plane, then hijacked a Lufthansa jetliner to Athens where they executed four hostages and forced Greece to release two 'Black September' terrorists. At least 35 persons were killed. Cross at lower right of picture is part of hearse.
