Proof -- 1992-6035 (172-269g) -- 1992-6036 (172-269h) -- 1992-6037 (172-269o). Born in 1894, Paul Williams became architect, opening his own practice in 1922. Became the first African American member of the American Institute of Architects in 1923. Began career designing homes for wealthy residents of Los Angeles area, eventually expanding to commercial and institutional markets. Died in 1980.
