Photograph of unidentified shacks behind a makeshift picket fence, [s.d.]. A short picket fence made of various materials is pictured in the foreground, just back from a swath of cleared ground. A piece of corrugated tin connects the fence to what appears to be an outhouse. Behind the fence, a complex of four one-story bungalow-style homes face in toward each other, forming a courtyard of sorts. A man can be seen on the porch of one of the houses at right. Smoke appears to be rising from a second yard farther back.
