Original photograph has several light colored stains. The name of the library was changed from North Hollywood Sidney Lanier Regional Branch to North Hollywood Amelia M. Earhart Regional Branch in 1980. Photograph caption dated June 22, 1956 reads "Jonelle Marsh, 7, daughter of Assemblyman William F. Marsh, lends muscle to ground-breaking ceremonies for $183,000 addition to North Hollywood Library. Wing will expand library threefold.
