Description
This is a photograph of "our home and first building at Ngaimoon [now Haimen] at one end of property [1/2 mile by 1 mile]. On this spot ... in 1940,1941 we ran a free 70 bed refugee hospital. Half the patients were Chinese guerrillas, casualties in occupied territory across the river."
