Photograph caption dated August 7, 1956 reads "Eddie Ross, right, receives beautiful trophy from tournament chairman Jack Liston for winning the first annual San Fernando Real Estate Board golf championship yesterday at the San Fernando Valley Country Club. Ross defeated Eddie Wallace on the 21st hole in a sudden death playoff to win the title after the two were tied at 74 each." The country club is in Woodland Hills.
