Description
A large house known as the Piru Mansion, in the community of Piru, Ventura County, California. The house is at the base of a hill and has palm trees in front.
Title devised by cataloger. Date supplied by donor Ernest Marquez. This house was built in 1890 by David C. Cook and is now known as the Newhall Mansion after its purchase by Scott and Ruth Newhall. It has also been called the Piru Mansion or Cook Mansion. (Source: Newhall Mansion web site.)
