the teacher is noticeable in the back row. Some of the students in the back row are leaning against the exterior wall of the partially visible school
the wall shows two rectangular windows and serves as the background. Photoprint reads: "La Dow School (corner of Normandie- formerly Rosedale Ave.- and W. Vernon Ave.)".
