“View from top of Tower of Victory.” View of landscape surrounding Chittaurgarh. Chittaurgarh served as the third capital of the Mewar kingdom before it was sacked and the capital moved to Udaipur. The Tower of Victory, or Vijay Stambha, was constructed between 1458 and 1468 to commemorate the victory over the Muslim ruler of Delhi.
