Description
A silver tetradrachm of Athens in fine condition. Front of the coin displays head of Athena facing right, wearing crested helmet ornamented with three olive-leaves and floral scroll. Her hair is drawn across her forehead in parallel curves. Back of the coin displays standing owl facing right with head in erect posture. The tail feathers are represented as a single prong, pointing to the right, ATHE, in large even lettering, to the left, olive twig an crescent, all within incuse square.
