Sue Kunitomi Embrey led the grass-roots effort to preserve Manzanar for 37 years. Interviewees include Embrey herself as well as family, friends, and collaborators. The interviews encompass not just Manzanar history but other themes in California History including labor, women's rights, Asian American history, politics, and more.
