Caption from June 2, 1965 Sacramento Bee reads, "READY FOR BUSINESS-- The new postoffice in Angels Camp, Calaveras County, will be dedicated Saturday at 1:30pm. The Main Street building was constructed at a cost of $48,000. Fred Wilder, postmaster for the last 25 years, said Raymond Germain, assistant to the regional postoffice director will be present for the ceremony which will feature Boy Scout flag presentations, band music and talks. The Angels Boosters Club will be in charge of the dedication program."
