Description
Photograph of a drawing depicting the Mission San Francisco de Asis during the early 1870's, ca.1900. The mission chapel is shown in the background just left of center, a two-story adobe building with a romanesque facade. Farther front, separated from the chapel by a picket fence, pedestrians can be seen walking in the dirt road in the foreground among horse-drawn carriages. To the right, an American Flag can be seen hanging from its flagpole, behind which the one-story long annex of the monks' quarters can be seen extending to the right from the chapel.
