Description
Caption on back: In the group standing near the car, the man with the long overcoat & black hat is E. J. 'Lucky' Baldwin, confirmed February 16, 1982 by Sandy Snider Co-author of "Arcadia-Where Ranch and City Meet." The man at the right of the same group evidently is an Edison lineman with his "climbing irons" as the Edison Office is shown at the right of the picture. In the group standing at the right of the man on the left is believed to be Ben Overturff and the second man from the right with his hands in his pockets and hatless is Thomas Neville, proprietor of Neville's Drug store, at the right. Next to the drug store is the office of the Edison Electric Co. Ben Overturff is said to be the only man to have made the first P.E. Car into Monrovia and the last to leave it.
