An interior view of the Joint Science Center. This particular room was a temperature-controlled laboratory housing animals. Reverse of the photograph adds that "in bygone days there were many more rats in Benezet than now. Today's emphasis in research psychology is more in direct field applications." On his retirement, the Joint Science Center was renamed the Louis T. Benezet Psychology Building.
