Description
Photograph of two Native American women weaving baskets indoors, [s.d.]. The women can be seen seated at center. The woman on the left wears a dress with fringes, beaded necklaces, and a patterned headband. Her hair is visible styled in two braided pigtails. She wears moccasins, and her legs are crossed at the ankles. She can be seen weaving a round shaped basket on her lap. The woman to her right wears a dress, beaded necklaces, a patterned headband, and shoes that cover her calves. Her legs are crossed, and she is visible weaving a rectangular-shaped basket on her lap. Curled pieces of material that appear to be supplies for basket weaving can be seen in a pile on the ground at left. Painted hides and paintings can be seen along the wall in the background, while completed baskets can be seen on a table at right. A large woven basket is partially visible in the right foreground. A box reading "Lucky Strike Cigarettes" is visible in the left background.
