Description
The painting "The sea hath its pearls" by William Henry Margetson, 1897, depicting a woman collecting shells on the beach, [s.d.]. The woman is shown in a circular frame, wearing a toga with a floral pattern at the hem. She is bent slightly at the waist, clutching her toga to her chest and examining the shell in her hand. The sea water laps at her sandaled feet and fills the rest of the background.
