Title supplied by cataloger. When completed, this white marble office building housed the headquarters for Getty Oil and came to be known as the Harbor Building. Prior to its construction, the lot had been occupied by an expansive estate, built in 1926 for William Jenkins, which served as the home of aging Hollywood star Norma Desmond in Billy Wilder's film "Sunset Boulevard." At top, vertically left to right are: Windsor Blvd., Lorraine Blvd., Irving Blvd., and Bronson Ave. The architects for Tidewater Oil Co. are Claude Beelman and Associates; Bethlehem Pacific are steel frame fabricators and builders; C.L.
