Photo -- black and white, postcard: The first barn built on Isaac Sullivan's property in Green Valley (Graton) as it looked in 1931. Sullivan purchased 640 acres of land for $800 from Captain Juan Cooper, brother-in-law of General Vallejo who was the grant holder to the Rancho El Molino. The Sullivans were one of the first pioneer families to settle in Sonoma County.
