Description
"Zuschauer beim Kinderspiel in Baziya" ("Spectators at the child’s play in Baziya"). This photograph shows some spectators who are watching the child’s play. They are standing and sitting in rows. Some are wrapped in blankets and draperies and wearing headdresses. Others are wearing their school uniforms. Behind them are trees.
Samuel Baudert (1879-1956), born as son of the missionary Samuel Baudert in South Africa, was mission director of the Moravian Church from 1924 to 1927 and since 1929 their bishop.
