Description
Photograph of a fountain outside of the Santa Barbara Mission, 1929. The fountain stands in the center of an enclosed pool of water. It is darkly-colored from the elements and rough around the edges from deterioration. A tree hangs over the right foreground. The large, lightly-colored mission building stands in the background. Wide steps lead to the large, arched doorway at right. Crosses and huge bell towers stand over the entrance. A hillside with buildings can be seen in the far right distance.
