Description
In 1887 a new roundhouse was constructed, and a new larger water tank was required for additional water in order to service another train that was added to the line. Behind this large tank is the framework of a windmill used to pump water from a well for the tanks. Railway gas and water storage tanks are pictured along with the house in the center, which belonged to Mr. & Mrs. Roy Adams. The shop is on the east side, which still stands as of 1982. The shop where Roy Adams worked is not in the photo.
