Description
Article in the San Diego State University student newspaper, "The Aztec" discusses a planned visit by Japanese American incarcerated students. The article describes the students' leadership in developing a recreation program at the camp and a previous visit by SDSU administrators/faculty who provided materials for use in developing the program. The article does not say where the students are, but previous articles place them at the Santa Anita Temporary Assembly Center in Arcadia, California. See Items Aztec_1942-04-21 and Aztez_1942-04-21 for previous articles referring to the incarcerated students at the center.
