Description
Richard Garvey's home at 2109 Del Mar Ave was built around 1900 with Eucalyptus logs. It was a center of social activities during early days in Ramona Acres. After the Garvey family died, it was often unoccupied and legend has it that ghosts haunted the house. Around 1960 Mr. and Mrs. Harold Webster acquired the house and lived there. In 1973 it was torn down. Mrs. Webster still owned the land as of 1976. At that time Mrs. Websiter lived in Arcadia and the picture is from her collection.
