5th Street before the freeway. Several store fronts are shown on this main street during Beaumont's early days. Maloofs, Pass City Grocery, Beaumont Variety Store, Charles E. Crowther Real Estate and a Barber Shop are a few of the stores in the growing boom of Beaumont.
