Description
Santa Ana Mayor R. Carson Smith (left) presents a corsage to Minta Martin, mother of pioneer aviator Glenn Martin (second from left). The two had just flown in to the El Toro Marine Corps Air Station at the start of a visit to Santa Ana where Glenn Martin received numerous honors. He had made the first powered airplane flight in Orange County in 1910.
