Description
Protection - Westlake fire station, being built at 31981 West Foxfield Drive by the Los Angeles County fire department, is nearing completion and is expected to be ready for firefighting within a few months. The $172,000 station will house four fire trucks and rescue rigs, and will protect the Lake Lindero-Westlake area against fire, especially brushfire danger. Another Los Angeles County station is also under construction on Las Virgenes Canyon Road just of the Ventura Freeway this station will include a heliport.
