Description
Claubes' store in Porterville, CA, is gaily decorated for the 1936 Christmas season. The original space for the store was from the black poles on the right to the left side of the picture. The area to the right was the lobby and entrance to the Pioneer Hotel. When Claubes' enlarged to take in the lobby of the hotel, the hotel entrance was moved to the south side of the building.
