Description
Looking east from California Street, we see the roundhouse in the Beaumont train depot, which is important in keeping the engines functioning well. Built in 1887, the depot had many improvements made in subsequent years. Two locomotives are parked in front of the roundhouse for maintenance, and four locomotives are parked to the right with three on top of the ash pits. The oil tank is to the extreme right of the picture.
