Description
The Summit House was a hotel that catered to large groups that needed lodging in Beaumont on special occasions. It was established in 1884 by Frank Mindler, and was Beaumont's first hotel. The Summit House had it's start as the Beatty House but was later renovated and renamed the Summit House.
