Description
Orchards and farm produce brought a gross annual income of $370,000 to Beaumont in the early 1900's. This is a typical cherry orchard shown here on Sky High Ranch. Although Beaumont is most widely known for its cherry orchards, many other fruits are grown commercially, the peach being a leading crop in returns to growers. Irrigated holdings are intensively cultivated and have fine modern homes.
