Description
A brochure, prepared and published by the Tropico Improvement Association, for ""the information of tourists, home-seekers and the public in general"". At the time, Tropico was an unincorporated, primarily agricultural area of Los Angeles, located just south of Glendale along the east side of the Los Angeles River. Includes a history of the Tropico Improvement Association with a list of officers, real-estate listings, advertisements for local merchants, and a history of Rancho San Rafael. Illustrated with photographs of homes and landscapes.
