Description
Pioneer aviator Glenn L. Martin and one of his students, Florence (Mrs. Henry) Seidel, of Santa Ana. Martin made the first powered airplane flight in Orange County in 1910, and opened a flight school on Newport Bay in 1912. Mrs. Seidel was one of the first woman pilots in the United States.
