Description
Under a policy at the Springville Tuberculosis Hospital, third and fourth year medical students could spend the summer months studying medicines as related to the diagnosis and treatment of tuberculosis and other chest diseases. The first student to take advantage of the new progam was Robert Moran, son of Judge Glenn Moran of Visalia. Moran was attending Stanford Medical School and was entering his third year of medical study the Fall of 1950.
